Being Meticulous

Okay, so I just went through screen caps of season one, to prove to myself that Gwen Cooper doesn't wear leather in the first season. There's a couple of black fabric jackets that pop up, but no leather. I can now say with reasonable confidence (confirmation of the fact that Gwen doesn't wear leather until season 2 would be much appreciated) that one of the details in my Big Bang story works.

In other news, it hit me today that posting for the Case Story Big Bang starts next week. I am no where close to being done. It's all in bits and pieces on my computer, although I have a very detailed outline as to what I'd like to happen all the way through the rest of the fic. My biggest thing is trying to figure out how I'm going to write six weeks of trekking without it becoming boring. Summarizing of events is going to occur, as well as some specific events that I've already planned/written. I've also not had a chance to go back and watch eps (although I managed to watch Countrycide tonight. MAN, that ep's creepy), which is causing some characterization to suffer, mainly with Tosh. I wasn't too bad at writing Ianto, which is surprising as he doesn't really speak to me like Jack and Gwen.

So now I'm panicking that I'm not going to be able to get this fic done, which is a shame, as I am so close to the finish. I may have to drop out, or do some hard core writing over the next few days. I also have a fic I'm co-writing that is no where close to being finished.

Let's see if I can pull this off and get both of these fics done and published in time...

The things we do to check details for fic, heh.
I've never done a big bang, although I'm tempted to do the marvel one for 2012. Countrycide I think is one of the creepiest episodes. Made me jump and the fact that just people are the bad guys was a bop to the head. Aww, poor Tosh. Give her some love ;)

Oooh, yeah. I've gone so far as to compile a timeline for series one to three of Being Human so that I could be accurate with my dates. I think the first three series took a total of a year. George's transformations make for easy marking of a timeline.

Ooo, I would love to read your Marvel Big Bang for 2012, if you try to do it.

I agree, and I will see what I can do for Tosh. ;)

I will have to see what I can do to get these done. If worst comes to worst, I can always drop out. Either that or write in strange places. :P

Countrycide still makes me scream!
I've never really written Tosh, I'm not really sure I could get a handle on her character enough to write her, but wishing you luck!
And I can't think of any Gwen-related leather in season 1... the first I can remember is the jacket in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (she looks so hot in that outfit ♥)

Sorry I put you through all that. There's just so much of Season 1
that I can't bring myself to re-watch, especially the "C" episodes. At least now you know. I wonder if it was a deliberate decision of RTD to get her into the leather in the second series as a symbol of authority and just plain hotness.
