Also, I tend to read anything and everything, with no real preference for ships (although I love my yacht which is Clint/Natasha). Nor do I really care if it's an AU. The only thing I really care about is quality writing, which I have found a ton of. You have been warned.

Clint's life is a steady progression from point A to point B, but it's everything that happens between those points that make the story interesting. Things like joining the circus, losing Barney, finding Barney, stumbling into SHIELD, trusting Coulson, meeting Fury, making a different call when he's sent to kill the Black Widow, and becoming part of the dysfunctional Avengers team.
I fell in love with this fic from the first chapter, with the amazing way it details Clint's childhood. The rest of the fic is amazing as well, definitely one to watch.

Dr. Banner always has a simple and efficient way to explain the curriculum, Coach Odinson will run laps with you and cheer you on the entire time, and Mr. Laufeyson hates everybody. Principal Fury and Assistant Principal Coulson rule the school with an iron fist and poor Peter Parker is just trying not to get trampled by the students.
See what I mean about shipping anything and everything? Peter Parker is a new student teacher at the high school, and just trying to get by. Even though it's an AU, everyone's still in character, and it's entertaining while also raising points on LGBT and how they can be treated.

I recommended this a few weeks back, without having read past the first chapter. I'm all caught up, and this is an amazing story. It's also really funny, and I've laughed like a loon a couple times.

I just... really want something where Fury is a father figure for Clint. Like the positive one he never had as a kid, and they are both aware of this but don't actually acknowledge it, until Clint does something stupid and ends up in the infirmary, at which point Fury camps out by his bed for hours on end and terrifies the nurses and shit. Because that's what dads are supposed to do. Even when they're pretending to not actually be a dad.
Can be a 5+1 thing or a "The Avengers finally notice this" thing or just anything, I just need it. Because of reasons.
(Bonus points for Clint/Coulson and some mention of Fury giving Coulson the "If you hurt him..." talk.)

As if on cue an arrow promptly sticks itself between Fury's narrowed eyes.

I just... really want something where Fury is a father figure for Clint. Like the positive one he never had as a kid, and they are both aware of this but don't actually acknowledge it, until Clint does something stupid and ends up in the infirmary, at which point Fury camps out by his bed for hours on end and terrifies the nurses and shit. Because that's what dads are supposed to do. Even when they're pretending to not actually be a dad.
Can be a 5+1 thing or a "The Avengers finally notice this" thing or just anything, I just need it. Because of reasons.
(Bonus points for Clint/Coulson and some mention of Fury giving Coulson the "If you hurt him..." talk.)
