book_junkie007Just received confirmation that Hawkeye: Volume 1 is being shipped to me! The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society came on Monday. There will be lots of book love in my mail. :D
Hawkeye: Volume 1 is also sold out at the Chapters/Coles/Indigo website, which is impressive when you consider the fact that it's the main chain of bookstores across Canada. I'm glad I pre-ordered it when I did. I don't know if Marvel knew it was going to be this popular, or if it was just a thought of "keep the first printing small because we don't know how successful this will be." I also couldn't find Hawkeye issue 1 in the comic book stores about a week after it was released, which disappointed me, but may have been a clue as to how popular and anticipated this series was.
